DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Assistant to the Executive Secretary shall:

  •      Make travel arrangements for the Executives Secretary and/or other management staff.
  •   Conduct research, compile data, and prepare document for consideration and presentation by Executive Secretary, committees and the governing board.
  •      Provide clerical support to other departments
  •      Assist in drawing up programs for official visits
  •      Assist in organizing conferences and meetings
  •     Assist in organizing hospitality and other logistic arrangements for visiting delegations, the governing board and /or management
  •    Assist in planning and organizing receptions, banquets and dinners for the Executive Secretary, the governing board and / or the NIA staff
  •      Process permits for visiting delegations for their travel in and out of the country
  •       Act as confidential Secretary in the absence of substantive confidential secretary
  •       Any other job-related assignments that may be issued from time to time


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

IN-SERVICE ENTRY

·        Availability of vacancy on the grade of Officer, Administration.

·        A minimum of three (3) years on the grade of Assistant Officer, Administration.

·        Must have satisfactory Staff Performance Appraisal Reports.

Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
