DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Officer, Operations may be required to:
· Collect data for the formulation of policies.
· Implement programmes and activities of the Directorate.
· Collect data for the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Directorate.
· Facilitate registration of applicants.
· Interview applicants for registration activities.
· Vet applicants’ verification documents for registration activities.
· Capture biographic and biometric information of applicants.
· Print and issue Identity Cards.
· Collect data for the preparation of budget and work plan of the Directorate.
· Collect data for the preparation of quarterly, annual and other periodic reports of the Directorate.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
IN-SERVICE ENTRY
By upgrading/conversion of an officer below the Assistant Officer grade who acquires a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration and any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution subject to the following:
· Availability of vacancy on the grade of Assistant Officer, Operations.
· Must have satisfactory Staff Performance Appraisal Reports.
Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
