DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Statistical Analyst shall:

·        Provide inputs for the formulation of policies.

·        Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes and activities of the Unit.

·        Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes and activities of the Authority.

·        Oversee the conduct of impact assessment of programmes and activities of the Authority.

·        Oversee the development of guidelines, strategies and performance indicators for the monitoring and evaluation activities of the Authority. 

·        Supervise the effective and efficient management of data on the Authority’s activities.

·        Oversee the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Unit.

·        Oversee the preparation of the annual work plan and budget of the Unit.

·        Supervise and appraise the performance of subordinate staff.


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

IN-SERVICE ENTRY

·        Availability of vacancy on the grade of Deputy Director, Monitoring & Evaluation

·        A minimum of three (3) years on the grade of Principal Officer, Technical Services

·        Must have satisfactory Staff Performance Appraisal Reports

Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.

·        Negotiation, lobbying and conflict resolution skills

·        Ability to inspire and motivate

·        Knowledge in financial management, procurement laws and regulations

·        Knowledge in labour laws and regulations

·        Knowledge in relevant Information Technology (IT) applications.
